Posted at 08:42, 05 November 2009 Credited to: Rich Mackin Advenza Freight cease trading  Gloucester-based operator Advenza Freight has been wound up following a hearing in the High Court of Justice today, following the suspension of their operating licence and safety case at the end of last week. Advenza has seen a decline in traffic in recent months, after losing the National Express East Anglia thunderbird contract to Direct Rail Services, and the end of frequent Stockton-Cardiff scrap movements. Advenza's three Class 66 locomotives have been repossessed by Porterbrook and taken into store at Wembley, while the remaining locomotives are now in the hands of assessors.Click here to discuss this news.
